Escaping The Shadows.
Built on a historic freight rail line elevated above west Manhattan is the New York City Park called the High Line.
It is a glorious walk running alongside (and above) 10 Avenue for a number of blocks, before heading towards Washington Street from the Hudson yard area.
The light is constantly changing along the route. Tall building on One side casting shadows on the other side.
This image was captured in Winter when the sun was low in the sky, casting long shadows.
